OBITUARIES

Albert Kaydo Jr, age 79 of Ashtabula, passed away February 2, 2022 in Geneva. He was born April 3, 1942 in Uniontown, PA to Albert & Caroline (Doljack) Kaydo Sr. He married Sally Schmidt on October 9, 1982 in Ashtabula.

Mr. Kaydo served in the United States Marine Corp. He retired from Bud Industries in Willoughby where he worked as a sheet metal operator. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Ashtabula and in his spare time he enjoyed playing cards and watching cowboy movies.

Survivors include his wife Sally; sons Rob Kaydo of Jefferson and Ronnie (Heidi) Gersin of Saybrook; grandchildren Kallee, Lainey, Abbey and Zander. He is also survived by his brothers Jerry (Judy) Kaydo & Danny Kaydo both of Ashtabula.

He was preceded by his parents.

No services will be observed at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Albert Kaydo (Bo) passed away February 2nd from Parkinson's Disease. He was born in Uniontown, PA April 3, 1942, and came to Ashtabula when he was twelve years old until his death. He served in the Marine Corp at the age of 17 from 1959-1962. He worked 42 years at Bud Ind. in Willoughby, Ohio. He has two brothers, Jerry and Danny; two sons, Rob Kaydo and Ron Gersin; sister-in-jaw, Judy; daughter-in-law Heidi Gersin, who was always by his side; and four grandchildren, Kallie, Lainey, Abby and Zander Gersin. He adored his grandchildren; they called him Papa. His hobbies that he loved were going to the casino and bowling. He leaves behind his wife Sally, all of his loved ones, and his little dog Snickers. There will be a Celebration of Life for friends and family at 2 PM Sunday, February 20th, at the V.F.W. in Geneva.
