OBITUARIES

Alfred J. Dawes, age 76, went to be with the Lord March 30th, 2025 at his home. Born in Cleveland on May 7th, 1948, he was the son of Willie and Frances (Stokes) Dawes. He was employed at Erico, Inc. in Solon for over 40 years. He married Deborah (Foote) Dawes on January 25th, 1975, celebrating 50 years.

Alfred loved his family, hunting, fishing, camping, working on cars and going to car shows. He was a member of Geneva Church of the Nazarene and loved helping anyone he could.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Edvan Dawes.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Debbie; children: Al (Michele) Dawes, Paul (Jessica) Dawes, and Greg Dawes; grandchildren: AJ (Amanda), Mitchell, Mason, Maxwell, and Gavin Dawes. Siblings Wanda (Mike) Zarzecny, Chuck (Theresa) Dawes, George (Alisha) Dawes, and Eileen (John) Tremul.

Calling Hours: Thursday, April 3rd, 2025 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM

Funeral: Friday, April 4th, 2025 at 11:00 AM

Location: The Ridge Nazarene Church, 710 Centennial St., Geneva. Rev. Richard Meier officiating.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
