Anna-Mae Marie Burns 1924-2019

Anna-Mae Burns, age 94, passed away October 12, 2019 at Saybrook Landing in Ashtabula. Born December 15, 1924 to George and Sara (Schaffer) Kriglein. She spent most of her life in Geneva.

Anna-Mae worked in the laundry room at Memorial Hospital in Cumberland, MD. She married Jesse Burns June 24, 1952 in Cumberland. Anna-enjoyed traveling, playing bingo, cards and board games.

Survivors include Step-Daughter: Drema Ridgeway of West Virginia; 4 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; Many nieces and nephews; great and great great nieces and nephews;

Preceded by: Husband: Jesse Burns; Sisters: Margaret “Sadie” Twigg; Matilda Carnes; Katherine Pellissler; Gertrude Dorn; Josephine Bunner; Jane Knapp; Brothers: George Kriglein; Charles Kriglein; Louis Kriglein and Parents.

Calling Hours will be Friday, October 18, 2019 from 11:00 – 12:30 PM at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva. Funeral Service immediately following with John Bunner officiating. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery, Geneva.
