Obituary For Anthony Bernard

Anthony "Tony" Bernard Jr., age 89, passed away June 5, 2023 at his home surrounded by family and loved ones. Born July 26, 1933 in Spangler, PA, he was a proud son of Anthony and Ruth (Blick) Bernard. Tony served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Tony was a machinist by trade and more importantly to him, a family man. He loved spending time with all of his family, delighted in his grandchildren, and especially enjoyed rides with Tony in their car. Tony Jr., affectionately known as “Pap” to family and friends, has left an enduring legacy of love, family values, and a refined taste for Italian food.

He is survived by his children Anthony "Tony" of Geneva; John (Brenda) of Kinsman; Ronald "Ronnie" (Belinda) Chattanooga, TN; William "Billy" Bernard of Saybrook; Ruth (Buster Ward of Ashtabula) Cuccaro of Geneva and Linda (Chuck) Jackson of Geneva; 15 Grandchildren; 15 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild; Sister: Brenda (Gary) Hankey of Gettysburg.

Preceded by: Wife: Joan "Lucy"; Son: Daniel; Brother: Donald and Great Grandson: Ryan Niewiadomski.

Graveside Service: Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mark Shearer of Here’s Hope Baptist Church at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva
