OBITUARIES

Benjamin "Ben" H. Tidy, age 84, passed away April 4, 2018 at University Hospital of Cleveland. Moving from Geneva to Jefferson in 1974. Ben was born on Wednesday, March 7, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio. Son of George W. & Trula F. (Swaggerty) Tidy. He married Florilda "Flo" Thompson on December 6, 1954 in Angola, Indiana.

A supervisor at TRW in Euclid for 48 years. Member of Willoughby Blue Lodge for 50 years, Jefferson Conservation Club, ORCA Geneva Gun Club, TRW Rod & Gun Club and his "Fly Boys" friends would get together. Loved his family, avid aviator, participated in several sports shooter events, golfer, tinkering on things, camping & traveling.

Survivors: Wife: Flo, Children: Pamela Tidy of Geneva, Ben Tidy Jr. of Ashtabula & Penny (Jim) Kidner of Willoughby; Grandchildren: Amanda, Louisa & Missy Mae ; 6 Great Grandchildren; Brother: Ken (Dianne) Tidy of North East, MD; Sister: Arlene Alford of TN.

Proceeded by: Daughter Lillian Foust; Siblings: Donald, Richard, Fay Harp & Carley Cunningham & Parents.

Calling Hours: 7-8:30 pm, Sunday, April 8, at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva with time of Sharing at 8:30 with family and friends. Interment : North Madison Cemetery will be at a later date.
