Bernice M. Powers 1927-2018

Bernice M. Powers age 90, passed away Sunday April 15, 2018 at University Hospital Geneva Medical Center. She was born on Friday May 13, 1927 to Harry and Sara Hedvig (Larson) Grubham in Ashtabula, Ohio.

Bernice was a secretary for the Department of Human Services in Ashtabula, and owned Tropical Sno, Geneva-On-the-Lake for 5 years. She was a Roger Fetter tennis fan and enjoyed traveling.

Survived By: children Renee M. Nash of Geneva; Brenda (Lawrence) Leach of Akron; Kim (Rick) Primmer of Myrtle Beach; and Kitt Allen of Myrtle Beach. Grandchildren: Ryan, Brooke, Cody, Jasmine, Derek, Sarah, Patrick, and 9 Great Grandchildren.

Services: 6:00 P.M. April 18, 2018 at St. John's Lutheran Church, 811 South Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. Rev. Jonathan Schroeder officiating. Donations: St. John's Lutheran General Fund.
