Beverly “Bev” J. Endress 1933 - 2020

Beverly J. Endress, age 86, unexpectedly passed June 9, 2020 in Geneva. Born July 16, 1933 to Tom and Pearl (Kelly) Vinson (Fred Vinson - Step Father) in Grants Pass, Oregon. Bev lived most of her life in Geneva and was a member of Geneva United Methodist Church. She, along with her late husband Bob, owned Bob and Bev’s Corner Grocery Store where Bev served as the local Western Union representative in addition to being a representative for the Greyhound Bus Service. Bev also worked as a nurse’s aide at Geneva Memorial Hospital and in her later years was a representative for Hallmark Cards.

Bev belonged to numerous clubs in the area including Gold Star and Blue Star Mothers, Geneva VFW where she was a lifetime member of the auxiliary, Ladies Auxiliary, FOE, Aerie #2243, and the American Legion.

Bev had many interests, with her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren being her source of pride, along with her dog Max. She enjoyed crafting, sewing, gardening, camping, fishing, volunteering, and her beloved Cleveland Indians.

Survivors: Children: Elinor “Ellie” (Wayne) Lomas of Geneva on the Lake; Doreen “Dee” (Virge) Endress of Granby, Connecticut. Grandchildren: Beverly (Tim) Maruna; Wayne (Amy) Lomas, Jr; Mat (Cara) Lomas; Taylor (Allison) Tucker; Great Grandchildren: Daren Maruna (Megan); Carley (Jordan) Barrett; Braden Maruna; Alayna Lomas; Mason Lomas.

Preceded: Husband: Robert (Bob); Sons: William J. “Billy”; Jimmy S.; Bobby L. Jr. Siblings: Bernice Hodges; Blanche Walker; Toby Dorsey; Ray Vinson; Jim Vinson; and Parents; Pearl and Fred Vinson.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held on July 6 at noon at the Geneva United Methodist Church. Interment will be Evergreen Cemetery, Geneva, OH.
