Blythe E. Karran 1932 ~ 2021

Blythe E. Karran, age 88, passed away July 7, 2021 in Geneva. Born September 16, 1932 in Ashtabula, she was a daughter of Jonathan & Marguerite (Cummings) Lister. She married Richard Karran in Geneva on May 15, 1954 and they lived most of their life in Geneva.

Blythe was a medical supplier for Geneva Hospital, and was an avid gardener and flower arranger, having owned a small nursery. She liked to travel and loved to search for great bargains when she went shopping. Blythe played the flute and was a majorette in high school. She loved cats and dogs, but she was more of a dog person.

Survivors: Husband: Richard Karran of Geneva; Son: Bentley (Cheryl) Karran of Madison; Grandchildren: Talia and Tessa Karran of Madison; Nieces: Vera (Mark) Shafer of Geneva; Elvira Gawne of Isle of Man; Nephews: Carl Heikkinen of Salem; Clay (Melissa) Nielsen of Madison and Jaye (Chris) Athy of Florida. Sister: Joanne (Joe) Goodell of Springfield, VA. Preceded: Sister: Arlene Nielsen; Parents.
