OBITUARIES

Daniel L. Hart, age 86, passed away June 3, 2025 in Willoughby. Born May 4, 1939 in Painesville, he was the son of Ralph and Mary (Fawcett) Hart. Daniel was a carpenter who specialized in remodeling and farming. He married the love of his life, Joan (Smith) February 24, 1979. Daniel enjoyed the outdoors and would often be found working outside, camping, fishing and traveling.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Joan; Children: Edward Bowes, Michael (Julee) Bowes, Linette Derminer, Sandra (Rob) Samay, Theresa Zabarskey, Christine (Keith) Bartley, Christy Gunther, Mary Colter and Rachel (Eli) Tackla; Grandchildren: Nancy Blazej, Cynthia Bowes, Kelsi Bowes, Trisha Bowes, Lizzy Bowes, Rebekah Black, Markie Hoffman, Amanda Rumer, Brittany Samay, Brett Samay, Sean Zabarskey, Kiley Zabarskey, Krista Somody, Destiny Hayman, Vanessa Gunther, Carl Gunther Jr., Devin Deliz, Mikayla Colter, Nevaeh Colter and Brayden Stewart; Great-Grandchildren: Melanie Williams, Alexia Clark, Dominick Blazej, Logan Black, Aubree Black, Riply Hoffman, Hastin Ashmore, Lilianna Somody, Clayton Althar Jr., Declyn Althar and Brynlee Althar; Great-Great-Grandchildren: Kaleb Williams and Grayson Williams;

He was preceded by: Grandchildren: Kenneth Derminer and Shawnna Spurlock-Bowes, Great Granddaughter, Emberly Rumer; Parents.

Remembrance Service for Daniel’s Life will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Harvest international Church, 8625 Center Street (Rt 45 North), Austinburg. Doors open at 2:00 PM with service starting at 2:30. His daughter, Rev. Mary Colter will be officiating. A gathering of friends and family will follow at the church hall.
