Obituary For Darlene Hart
Darlene Hart, age 84 passed away Saturday, January 10, 2026 in Ashtabula. Born March 12, 1941 in Painesville, she was a daughter of Elmer and Emma (Bager) Warner. Darlene was a waitress having worked at the Geneva Inn, Garfields, Swallows, Log Cabin, Snow White Bakery among many other restaurants. She had many interests including playing corn hole, bocce, bingo, poker, shuffle board and Bonco. She loved to spend time with her family, camping, dancing, she was on a bowling league and was Den Mother for a Boy Scout Troop.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Scott (Kim) Polkow; Bryan (Suzie) Polkow, Dawn (Billy) Kandrac; Kevin Polkow and Robert (Lindsay) Hart; Grandchildren: Emily Polkow, Evan Polkow, Morgan Sinclair; A.J. (Hannah Alexandra) Polkow, Alanna (Cameron Theroux) Polkow, Nikki (Cody) Rossman, Mikayla Polkow, Bentley Polkow, Maci Polkow, Bobby Hart and Charlotte Hart; 3 Great Grandchildren; Sister: Gertrude Feher and Longtime Companion: James “Jim” Wilson. And Grand-dog, Chensey
She was preceded by 1st Husband: John Gordon Polkow; Parents; Brothers: Harold, Allen and Henry; Sister: Violet Collard.
Calling Hours will be Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva.
Celebration of Life will follow with Rev Jeff Combs from 1st Community Church of God officiating.
Interment: Madison Memorial Cemetery, Madison.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Maddox & Friends Cat Rescue, 723 Clark Street, Conneaut, OH 44030.

Gary and I were very fond of Darlene. We had many fun times at dances and other parties, in Quail Hollow, New Smyrna Beach. Our sympathies to all of you. She will be missed. Anne and Gary Watson
