OBITUARIES

David Fields, age 75, passed away on August 14, 2025, in Willoughby, Ohio surrounded by his family. He was a long time resident of Geneva, Ohio.

David was married to the love of his life, Debra, for 49 wonderful years. Together, they raised three loving children: Dave (Erin), April and Kerry Fields, and Justin Quickel. His greatest joy was his family, especially his many grandchildren: Coleman, Carly, Carson, and Corbin Quickel; Keegan and Grayson Fields; and great-grandson, Casen Quickel.
He is survived by his wife, Debra; children; grandchildren; and great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dolly Fields and Donald Smith and siblings, Rose Marie Farrow and Louis Fields.

David was a proud United States Marine and a Vietnam veteran. He was a lifetime member of the VFW. For over 25 years, David worked as a tool maker at Carter Diamond Tool in Willoughby, OH.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva. The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneva. Military honors will be presented by the Geneva VFW Post 6846.
