OBITUARIES

Dawn N. Joswick, age 64, passed away at her home Wednesday, November 6, 2019 in North Carolina. Born November 19, 1954 to Cecil and Alice (Sprague) Spade in Geneva, Ohio. Dawn lived her life in Geneva, except for her last two years in North Carolina.

Dawn was a member of New Life Assembly, was on the church board and worked the sound system. She attended the Faith Baptist Church in Selma, North Carolina. For 20 years Dawn worked in the production department and 17 years in the receiving department of SCM (now called Cristal) in Ashtabula.

Dawn enjoyed attending her son’s track meets; playing the violin; and quilting. She was very active and enjoyed bicycle riding for 30 miles and riding her motorcycle. Being a member of the Lucky Horseshoe 4-H Club and the Boots & Saddles Horse Club gave Dawn the enjoyment of horseback riding.

Survivors: Children: Jennifer (Rob) Shelley of Clayton, North Carolina; Terry (Inna) Anderson of Reston, Virginia; Grandchildren: Robert Alexander “Alex” Shelley; Hannah and Melanie Shelley; Siblings: Byron Spade of Grove City; Emily (Miles) King of New Mexico; Catherine “Kitty” Butler of Geneva.

Calling Hours will be held at Walker Funeral Home Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 10:30 – 11:00 AM. Celebration of Life to follow at 11:00 AM with Reverend Harry Pischura of New Life officiating.

Burial at Mt. Pleasant will be at a later date
