OBITUARIES

Donald R. Todd, 73, passed away May 23, 2023 in Geneva. Born at home in Abraham, WV on March 7, 1950 to Norvel Davis & Retha M (Plumley) Todd.

He attended Richmond High, graduating Valedictorian in the class of 1968.

Serving 3 years in the Army, he worked in the motor pool across Germany during the Vietnam War.

Donald and Candy (Anderson) Todd were married in Unionville, OH on April 26, 1975 and celebrated their 48th anniversary this year.

Donald retired from Carter Diamond Tool of Willoughby, OH after 37 years. He truly enjoyed being a machinist and spent 5 years of his retirement working for Tenan Machine & Fabricating in Edgewood, OH. His hobbies included small engine repair, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. He loved his tractor.

Survivors: Wife: Candice; Children: Loretta (Maricris Billings) Todd of Plymouth Township and Norvell (Stacey) Todd of Harpersfield; Grandchildren: Timothy “TJ” (Catherine Vaughn) Stancliff of Madison; Shelby Stancliff of Los Angeles, CA; Olivia, Madeline, Reagan and Eli Todd all of Harpersfield. Siblings: Norvell Reno; Dennie Todd and Patsy (Glenn) Ellison.

Preceded by: Parents; In-Laws: Charlene and Richard Butler; Ira and Florence Anderson.

Calling Hours: May 25, 2023 at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman Street in Geneva, from 6 to 8 PM.

Funeral: May 26, 2023 at 11 AM at Walker Funeral Home.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery

Military Honors will be performed by the Geneva VFW Post 6846 Honor Guard.
