Obituary For Douglas Streets
Douglas Streets, age 82, passed away February 12, 2026 in Geneva. Born in Rowlesburg, WV on October 15, 1943, he was a son of Thomas and Cora (Poling) Streets. Douglas worked for Reliance Electric and retired at the age of 55. He liked to read, old cars, going to swap meets, bird watching and going to local football and basketball games.
Survivors: Children: Doug (Debbie) Streets; Victoria Johnson and April (Ron) Shupp; Grandchildren: Jeremy Chapline; Meghan Johnson; Alex Shupp; Theresa Shupp; Cora Streets; Donna Lee; Ashley Johnson and Sean Streets; Great Grandchildren: Harrison and Evelyn Chapline; and Brooklyn and Iris Lee; Siblings: Mary Ball; Jean Poling; Terry (Cindy) Streets and David Streets; Numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded by: 2 Brothers, Paul and Norm; Parents
Visitation: February 20, 2026 at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva from 3:00 - 5:00PM

Doug was such a gentleman at all times, and would give you the shirt off his back. Having worked at Reliance with him, I later turned to him for working on and fixing all my cars. He would always do the most he could do and I am very sorry for this family's very sad loss.

I'm sorry for your loss. I was one of the gentleman who did cpr on him until ambulance got there. I am truly sorry 🙏. May God wrap you all in his living arms during this difficult time. God bless you all.
