OBITUARIES

Dr. John Popovic, Geneva, age 77, passed away Thursday September 20, 2018 at U.H. Geneva. He was born November 26, 1940 in Skemljevec, Slovenia to Gabrijel and Antonija (Torkar) Popovic. Married Alenka (Zagar), April 30, 1976. He came to America in 1975, and became a Physician and had a medical practice for 35 years in Jefferson, Ashtabula and Geneva. He enjoyed politics, history and traveling.

Survived by: Beloved Husband to: Alenka; Loving Father to daughter Katarina Popovic, of Lakewood; and son Peter Popovic, of Geneva.

Preceded by: Parents; Brother: Gabrijel.
