Elaine J. Sweeney, 79, passed away December 26,2020 in Cleveland. Born March 21, 1941 to Fred & Dorothy (Lines) Hemminger in Linesville, PA. Elaine married Paul Sweeney September 29, 1962 in Geneva. She lived in Geneva and Ashtabula. Elaine was a homemaker and belonged to the FOE – Aerie 2243 in Geneva. She loved spending time with her family, watching westerns and word search puzzles.

Survivors: Children: Paul (Doree); Billy; Brian (Lani); Carol (Brandon Sublett) Coffman all of Geneva; John (Melanie) of Columbus; Grandchildren: Brian (Anita) Billig; Billy & John Sweeney; Sarah Williams 5 Great-Grandchildren; Siblings: Shirley (Tommy) McHugh of Andover; Linda (Bob) Brobst of Saybrook; Nancy (Dave) Mack of FL; Dave Hemminger of Ashtabula; Tom Hemminger of WY and Larry Pay of Geneva.

Funeral Service: 10:00 AM; January 2, 2021 at the funeral home.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery, Geneva OH
