Eric J. Kerns age 31 of Mentor passed away unexpectedly Nov. 2017. Born April 2, 1986 in Ashtabula to David J. & Ann F. (Reed) Kerns.

Eric worked at Anderson's Heating & Cooling in Mentor and had been a chef at Martinis Restaurant. He loved spending time with his children, putting model cars together and playing video games.

Survivors: Children, William and Avery Kerns; Fiancee, Erin Ahlstrom of Mentor; Mother, Ann Anderson of Ashtabula; Step-father, Bill Anderson of Painesville; Siblings, Crystal (fiance Patrick Decker) Conroy of Richmond Hts.; Thomas (Kayla) Kerns of Rock Creek; Joseph (fiancee, Ciara Johnson) Kerns of Ashtabula; Uncles, Frank Reed of Ashtabula; Joe (Shirley) DiDino of West Farmington; Sam (Doreen) DiDino of Pierpont; Michael DiDino of Ashtabula; Aunts, Tammy (Jerry) Nichols of Ashtabula; Cheryl Kerns of Kingsville; Cousin, Robert Dewhurst II of Indiana; and many other cousins.
