My thoughts and prayers for this beautiful family. Boots was a very dear friend of my mother. We grew up next door to her and went to school with her kids . I pray that our father in heaven will give them peace and comfort as they mourn the loss of their mother. Love you Boots, please give my mom a hug from us! 🙏❤️🙏

I just heard about Grandma Boots, and my heart is heavy with sadness. I wanted to reach out and let you know that altough I'm far away in Spain but I'm here with you in spirit. I can't help but remember when I first landed in Geneva, as a teenager, not knowing what to expect. I met Grandma Boots after a few weeks and she wrapped me in so much love and made me feel like part of the family, like her own grandson. I will never forget that warmth and acceptance. I remember her insatiable curiosity. She was always reading, always eager to learn about new things and new cultures. And she had always stories to tell. She had the most interesting tales about her dad and her husband, making the past come alive with her words. Her stories were filled with love, laughter, and sometimes tears, and they painted a picture of a life richly lived. Years later, when my kids spent their summers with her, they experienced that same boundless love and care. They'll carry those beautiful memories of her, her vibrant inquisitiveness, and her captivating stories with them always. She had this amazing way of making everyone around her feel special, and my children were no exception. It's so hard to believe she's gone, but she lived an intense life. She gave so much and asked for so little in return. Her family should be so, so proud of the love and joy she spread to everyone she met. I know her spirit, her great heart, will continue to live on in all the stories and memories we share. I'm sending you all my love and comfort during this really tough time. Love, Javier

I am so sorry for your family's loss, I'm sure she was happy to be reunited with Shannon and terry (along with other family members) , but she was sad to leave all of you. I remember working with her at Lakeland. She was always a spitfire and always busy talking about her family

Many memories of her and her home, always enjoyed her water gardens and her garden of vegetables. Best memory was her smile and never turning anyone away. She had the most unconditional heart I've ever met. Nonjudgmental person , always cooking something up in the kitchen! She will be missed and I'll cherish getting to know her.
