OBITUARIES

Howard K. Lahner, age 97, of Geneva, passed away July 19, 2019 at Gillette Nursing Home, in Warren. Born December 14, 1921 in Green, Ohio, the son of John & Fannie Elizabeth (Reynolds) Lahner. Served in the U.S. Army, and worked for Rockwell International as a Machine Operator for 31 years. Howard is a previous member of the Ashtabula V.F.W. Post, and he enjoyed fishing.

Survivors: Son: Bryan Lahner, of Lakeside, Arizona; Grandchildren: Amberly; Zachary; & Gabrielle; Siblings: Dorothy Hiner, of Lakeland, Fla; Ila Jones, of Andover; Abbie Brown, of Brunswick; Andrew Lahner, of Wayne Twp.; Dear Companion: Bonnie Ross, of Cortland.

Preceded by: Wife: Gladys R. (Holt), whom he married March 25, 1943 in Jefferson, Ohio; Son: Gordon; Siblings: Fredia Kamp; Betty Whitmore; John; Walter; Donald; Harlan; & Robert Lahner; and his Parents.

Graveside Service: 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 2, 2019 at Evergreen Cemetery, Geneva. Officiating Service: Rev. Thomas McCain.
