James J. Braat, age 81, of Geneva, passed away August 9, 2019, at his home with loving family by his side. Born June 9, 1938 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of William & Barbara (Vargo) Braat. Married Susan (Spore) Braat on October 28, 1974, in Jefferson, Ohio. James was a maintenance mechanic at Millennium Chemical where he retired. A member of the V.F.W. Post# 6846; and the F.O.E. #2243. James enjoyed spending time with his family, playing softball, horse racing, collecting baseball and football cards, and tinkering with bicycles.
