Obituary For James J. Yuhas Jr.
James J. Yuhas Jr. age 60, passed away on, November 2, 2017 at home from lung cancer that was diagnosed on Dec. 22, 2016. Born on October 11, 1957 to James J & Waneta (Burlingame) Yuhas. Married Cherie (Piekarski) on September 24, 1977. James J. Yuhas III is his son that he is very proud of his many accomplishments which include education overseas and learning many skills in business both here and abroad.
Hobbies- riding motorcycle, camping, fishing, tinkering in garage on projects, wood working. Graduated with class of 1976 at Geneva High with 2 years spent at Vo-Ed for auto body. Completed a 2 year Electronic Engineering Degree at Lakeland Community College in 1999. Volunteered with Austinburg Fire Department for over 20 years before going onto their retiree list. Employed with A. Schulman, formerly Hadlock Plastics as an electrical and program tech from 2-18-08 to present, General Aluminum, Parker Hannifin, Worthington Precision Metals and RMI Metals.
Survived by: spouse Cherie of Austinburg, son James III of Eastlake, father James, brother Patrick (Patricia) Yuhas of Austinburg and their children Jamie (Geremy) Hines of Jefferson, Lauren Carey of N. Carolina, Lindsey (Adam) Humble of Madison.
Preceded in death; Mother Waneta, Siblings; David Alan and Cristy Lou.
His body was donated to Case Western Reserve to help with future education.
