James R. Hildebrand 1952 - 2020

James “Jim” R. Hildebrand Sr., age 67, passed August 8, 2020 at UH Geneva.

Born November 29, 1952 in Geneva, Ohio, he was the son of Carl & Charlotte (Butz) Hildebrand. He married Paula Waid on August 14, 1993 in Ashtabula.

Jim adored his family and enjoyed his 2-seater, convertible sports cars. He was a hard-working man who will be missed by many.

A lifelong Geneva resident, he owned Only the Best Furniture & Appliance in Saybrook.

Survived by wife Paula; children James R. (Angelina) Hildebrand Jr. of Trumbull Twp., Kimberly A. Hildebrand of Chardon, Julie M. (Charles) Copeman of Montana; grandchildren Stephen (Krysten) Ortiz, Corrina Ortiz, Alexis Shanks, Dillon Hildebrand, Morgan Hildebrand, Chucky Copeman; and his brother Richard Hildebrand of Trumbull.

Preceded by parents and brother Robert.

Private Celebration of Life and graveside service will be held.
