Obituary For James T. Heath

James T. Heath 1937 - 2020

James T. Heath, age 83, passed to be with his Lord and savior on April 28, 2020 in Jefferson. Born January 15, 1937 to Lewis and Dorothy (Trumbull) Heath in Geneva. James lived all his life in the area and was an Army Reservist. He married Erika (Schulte) May 26, 1962 in Geneva.

James worked at True Temper in Geneva for 27 years, 11 Years for Coca Cola and worked as a draftsman at Perry Nuclear Power Plant. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and was Co-Chairman of Trustees of the Church. James was a third generation Volunteer of Austinburg Fire Department.

James was gifted at woodworking, art and hand-drawing. He enjoyed many things, including gardening, making wine, dancing, roller-skating, fishing, NASCAR and the Cleveland Browns.

Survivors: Wife: Erika; Sons: James of Madison; Eric (KC) of Geneva; Marc (Angel) of Saybrook; Grandchildren: Stephen; Aiden and Noah. Brother-In-Law: Arnold (Wilma) Schulte of Ashtabula; Nephews: Michael; Arnold, Jr; Christopher; Kim; Dana.

Preceded by: Parents.

A private graveside service was held at Trumbull Center Cemetery.

Interment: Trumbull Center Cemetery

Donations: St. John’s Pre-School and Geneva Food Pantry

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St. in Geneva.
