Jane Marie Ranney 1947 - 2020

Jane M. Ranney, 72, a Geneva resident of 22 years, passed away January 13, 2020 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Hts. Born October 31, 1947 in Dunkirk, NY to James and Helen A. (Vendetti) Schibetta. She was previously employed as a Machine Operator with Perfection. Jane enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, gardening, and was a fan of the Cleveland Browns and OSU Buckeyes.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons Jeffrey A. of Geneva and Joseph of Columbus; grandchildren Jennifer Workman and Jeffrey W. Ranney; and brother Charles Schibetta of Fredonia, NY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert; sister-in-law Silvia; and her beloved dog, Jessie Springer, whom she loved to walk in the park.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11 AM at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva, Ohio. A Funeral Service, with Father MulQueen officiating, will follow at 12 noon.
