Aunt Jan was a sweet and thoughtful person. She was very family oriented and always welcoming. She loved to cook and bake, and thankfully, was was equally willing to share that tasty food! (I can't remember ever leaving her house with an empty tummy!). I'm very glad for time we got with her and she is deeply missed.

Jan was a wonderful friend an coworker at Assumption School and Church. If you needed anything Jan was always there to help . If you needed an outfit altered or a baked good Jan was your lady to go to. I will miss seeing her . God has a true angel with him. Bless you my friend, Jan. Until we see each other again. 😇🙏 Cheryl Woodward

I have known Jan for many years. She was a generous, caring, hard working woman and always had a smile on her face. Both of us came from big families and shared some of the common experiences that only take place in a large family where respect, love and working together is a necessity. She will definitely by missed. It was sad to see her seat empty at Mass on Saturday. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. Rest in Peace, Jan.

I met Jan when I taught for two years at Assumption. She was always friendly and had that beautiful smile. Later, I would see her working at making grape pies. For the past few years, my husband and I saw her every Saturday at Mass. I'll miss her friendly smile.

I knew Jan for many years and she was always a sweet lady. She brought me a poppyseed coffee cake every Christmas which were delicious. She always had a great smile and I am sure she was a blessing to all that knew her. Deepest sympathy to all her family.
