Obituary For Jeannine J. Stoker
Jeannine Stoker passed peacefully at her home on November 30, 2018 at age 89. Born in Oil City, Pennsylvania on October 17, 1929, daughter to Ruth (Myers) and George Bahr. Jeannine was a beloved wife and mother. She and her late husband, Robert Stoker, co-founded the Stoker Steel Fabricating Company. She was active in the United Circle at Geneva United Church and the local exercise group. Jeannine was vivacious, mischievous and stylish.
In her younger days, she was an avid supporter of her children and their school activities and volunteered with the New Neighbors League. Jeannine led a busy, happy life. She liked to travel, attend plays, interact with family and friends, and watch the birds that nested on her front porch.
"Why would I want to leave here," she once asked, "when I have all this?"
Survived by her children: John Stoker (Eleanor Schuler), Robert (Patricia) Stoker, and Nancy (Paul) Moseley; six grandchildren: David (Erin) Stoker, Greg Stoker, Katie Stoker, Anna (Kelson) Kerruish, Becca Moseley, and Sarah Moseley; two great-grandchildren, Theora and Alaya Kerruish; and her sister, Betty Tait. She was still sparkling at 89. We will miss her gracious company.
