Obituary For Jesse L. Burgett

Jesse L. Burgett 1996 - 2020

Jesse L. Burgett, 24, passed away unexpectedly August 31, 2020.

Beloved son, brother, uncle and grandson, avid adventurer and creator, Jesse excelled in his career as a welder after graduating at the top of his class from Lincoln Electric Technology and Training Center in 2018. He was a “Tankie” for Phoenix Fabricators and Erectors, spending two years traveling to work on flat bottom tanks and water towers throughout the US. Though combining his passions in life attributed much to his success, Jesse’s proudest title was Uncle to nieces Addisyn and Beatrice.

Jesse is survived by his Parents; Toby and Lisa (Pierce) Burgett of Geneva; Sisters: Robbie (Stuart) Young of Greenville, SC and Ashley Burgett of Madison. Grandparents: Jerry (Marlene) Burgett of Dorset, Caroline “Sue” (Rick) Cordes of Geneva, Ansel “AJ” (Kathy) Pierce of Geneva.

He was preceded by his Great Grandparents: Ken (Dorothy) Klasen, Irene (Louis) Lantz, Hank (Emma) Burgett, Christine (Alfred) Frabotta.

A private family burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery at a later date.

Arrangements are under the care of Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St. in Geneva.

    It saddens me that you & your family have to endure such heartache ,it's hard to not want to blame someone or oneself ,but there is no blame to be given, even the how didn't I see or feel or know what was going on ,you wouldn't unless they verbally told you , it's a very puzzling death ,but know one is to blame !! Just have strength in one another to keep the family together ...remember everything you all did together ,all things he did that may have been quirky,funny ,mostly his smile so as to make you all smile once in awhile instead of feeling the tears always .....God Bless you Lis & your family,our thoughts & prayers will be forever in our hearts ❌⭕❌⭕ -Tom & Margaret Pivonka
