OBITUARIES

John C. Thomas age 68 of Geneva, passed away on May 31, 2019 at Geauga Hospital. Born on September 22, 1950 in Geneva to John "Jack" and Pauline (Darrow) Thomas.

John married Dawn M. (Patton) on September 4, 1971 in Geneva.

After 25 years, John retired from Ashtabula Molded Fiberglass Co. in 2012. He was a life-member of the Geneva V.F.W. Post 6846 and a member of GAMBA (Geneva Band Boosters). John served our country as a SGT. in the U.S. Air Force.

His hobbies included spending time with his Grandchildren and friends; riding his motorcycle; traveling ; playing the guitar and ukulele.

Survivors: Wife, Dawn; Son, Paul (Susan) Thomas of Geneva; Daughter, Andrea Otte of North Canton; 3 Grandchildren: Kaylee Thomas, Brandon Thomas, Emma Otte; and Sister, Janet Barbian of Ashtabula.

Preceded by his parents.

Calling Hours will be June 5, 2019 from 5-8 PM at WALKER FUNERAL HOME, 828 Sherman St. Geneva.

Funeral will be held June 6, 2019 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Military Honors presented by the Geneva V.F.W. Post 6846 Color Guard.

Burial, at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery, Geneva.
