Obituary For John R. Spade

John R. Spade, age 77, passed away January 4, 2023 in Ashtabula. Born in Geneva on September 10, 1945, he was a son of Earnest and Evelyn (Gray) Spade.

John lived in the area all of his life. He worked as a nurse’s aide at Homestead and worked at Hills Department Store. John served in the US Army and was honorably discharged. John liked house plants and had a knack for growing them.

Survivors: Siblings: George Straley and Joyce (Larry) Bodnar. Nieces & Nephews: Terry, Larry & April Bodnar; Cousin: Michael LaMarsh

Interment: Mt Pleasant Cemetery with military honors from Geneva VFW Post 6846 Colorguard on March 16, 2023.
