OBITUARIES

Kenneth L. Denslow, age 79, passed at home surrounded by his family. Born in Painesville on September 25, 1944, he was the son of Olid and Anne (Grien) Denslow. Kenneth married the former Mary Lou Burns on November 30, 1960 in Ashtabula. He was a certified welder and worked in the shipping department at True Temper and Geneva Rubber. Kenneth lived most of his life in Geneva and belonged to the VFW Post #6846, FOE Aerie #2243 and the Ashtabula Rod and Gun Club. He liked to go fishing and hunting in Pennsylvania, where he also had a cabin. Kenneth loved reading and was a history buff, he also enjoyed cooking and traveling. Kenneth visited 48 of the 50 states.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary Lou; Daughter, Loretta Johnson of Ashtabula; Grandchildren: Charlie Johnson of Geneva, Tracy (Rodney) Greynolds of Ashtabula; Great Grandchildren: Gabriel, Elizabeth and Mallory Johnson and Mason Greynolds.

Preceding him in death are his son Kenneth Jr. and his parents.

Calling hours will be at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman Street on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM to Noon. Funeral Service will immediately follow with Rev. Tina Tagle of the Geneva Church of the Nazarene.

Interment: Madison Memorial Cemetery, Arcola Rd.
