OBITUARIES

Larry N. Mills, age 89, passed 10/29/2021 in Garfield Hts. A North Kingsville resident since 2007, he was born in Painesville on 10/14/1932 to William and Myrtle (Lougenbell) Mills. He married Jean Taft on 1/19/2007 in Geneva, OH.

He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps and served in Korea. After the service he worked as a Maintenance Mechanic at Coca-a-Cola in Geneva.

Larry, a very spiritual man, attended many churches then became an Independent Minister with His Way Ministries and did outreach programs at different nursing homes. He was also affiliated with Geneva Assembly of God. He loved teaching from the Book of Revelations. His hobbies included woodworking, fishing and camping.

Survivors include wife Jean: children Colleen Otto of Toledo, Rosemarie (Frank) Bramer of WV: stepchildren Cindy (Robert) Neeper of PA, Richard (Princess) Taft Jr of Ashtabula, Thomas Taft of Cleveland, Christopher (Belinda) Taft of MS: grandchildren Michael, Christina, Angela, Johanna, Jennifer, Jodi, Jamie, Anthony, Andrew: several great-grandchildren.

Preceded by first wife Joan (Palinkas) Mills, parents and siblings.

Calling hours will be Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St. in Geneva from 12 noon to 1pm. A Celebration of Life will follow with Rev. Mark Seenarine & Rev. Harry Pishcura officiating. Military Honors will be performed by the Geneva VFW Post # 6846 Color Guard.
