Leona Frank 1945 - 2020

Leona Samples Frank died 07/30/2020 at her home in Rome.

She was born in Charleston, West Virginia January 31, 1945, the daughter of Eber Sr. and Kathryn Samples. Mrs. Frank was a resident of Hartsgrove, Ohio for many years. She was brought up in Carpenter, Ohio. Mrs. Frank was the owner of the Little Florist Shop in Geneva, Ohio. She loved her flowers. She also worked at Aero Controlex Trans Digm Corp. for 16 ½ years.

Survivors include her husband Edward, daughter Diana Hedges, son Robert Blair, step-children Kenny Frank, Kathy Pratt, Kim Logan, grandchildren Michelle Rondini, Adrain Rondini, Derek Stivers, Amber Blair, great grandchildren Gabriel Hejil, Dominic Rondini, Giuliana Rondini and Liam Blair, sisters Bonnie Starcher, Karen Dean.

She was preceded in death by her father Eber Samples Sr. January 1980, sister Virginia Denham, brother Eber Samples Jr. June 2006, mother Kathryn Samples September 2007 and her adopted mom Pearl Peterson.

At the request of the deceased, no calling hours will be observed. A small private service will be held at the Hartsgrove Cemetery.
