Obituary For Lola Mary Stiffler
Lola Mary (Schwentker) Stiffler
Lola Stiffler passed away on October 7, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. Lola was joined in heaven by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her husband of 68 years, Richard (Dick) Stiffler.
Lola was born in Geneva, Ohio on April 12, 1930 to Henry and Hazel Schwentker. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dick, and her brothers Jack and Elmer. Lola is survived by her son Steve and his wife Lauralee, grandsons Tim (Chelsea) and Bill (Erin) and granddaughter Allyson (SO Kelsey Harper). She is also survived by six great grandchildren with another on the way, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Lola was very social and loved spending time with the gals of the Quilt Club in Geneva and the Red Hat ladies in Hartville, Ohio. Also, she enjoyed the cousin's lunches with her relatives. She volunteered with the Red Cross blood mobile and was a poll worker for many elections.
She loved to sew and quilt and was a great cook and baker. She was quick to share her talents with anyone that asked. Thank you to the loving staff of the Sanctuary Grande in N. Canton for the great care Dick and Lola received during their stay there.
If you wish, please make a contribution to the charity of your choice in Lola’s memory.
There will be a graveside service at 12:30 PM on October 24 at Mechanicsville Cemetery, 3930 Lampson Rd. Geneva, OH. Pastor Michael Rose from the Peoples Church officiating
