Lucille A. Romeo

1938 ~ 2025

Lucille A. Romeo, 86, passed 05/04/2025 in Geneva. Born 10/26/1938 in Cleveland, she was the daughter of Joseph & Amalia (DeFranc) Romeo. Lu loved animals and was a Veterinarian assistant at Boyd Animal Hospital. She lived all of her life in Geneva and was very active in the community, being a member of Assumption Church, Geneva Camera Club, Kiwanis, Geneva Hospital Auxiliary, Geneva Key Club and the Geneva Senior Center. She was also on the committee to rename the new school Geneva Platt R. Spencer.

Lu loved her family, animals, riding horses on Ohio Buckeye Trails and was a member of a horse club in Bedford (Major the Horse).

Left to cherish her memory, are her children: Victoria Pudder and Gina (Ray) Bowman; Grandchildren: Jennifer (Ben) McAndrews, Kimberly (Tyler) Abbate, Nicholas (Cynthia) Pudder and Eric Pudder; Great Grandchildren: Riverz, Kambria, Desiree, Raelynn, Zaiyla, Ayden, Tara, Collin, Alaina, Amalia and Anna; a Brother: Modestino (Jane) Romeo.

She was preceded by her parents.

Visitation: 05/24/2025 from 9:00-11:00 AM; Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva; Service following with Deacon Richard Kuhlman of Immaculate Conception officiating.

Interment: Mt. Pleasant

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Animal Protective League; 5970 Green Road, Ashtabula.
