My condolences on the loss of this beautiful lady. You, the family, and I don't know each other, but I met Mary several years ago, and she made an impact on me. Over the course of a year or two we had several communications, and her name is still in my address book. Mary worked with my mom Louise Legeza in the Archives and/or genealogy room at the Geneva Library, and they became good work friends. She was instrumental in organizing a retirement party for my mom, which was so lovely and appreciated! If my mom were able, we would have come to the memorial. Your photo tribute is beautiful- so much love! At the least, I wanted to give this tribute to Mary- such a talented, vibrant, loving person! Her energy and passion were evident in all the historical endeavors she was involved in, and she definitely made an impression on me as a lovely, caring person. I'm sure the void left by her passing will be acutely felt by many in and out of the family. My heart hurts for all of you at this time, as I know she will be dearly missed. ~Pam (Legeza) Simpson
