OBITUARIES

Mary M. Schoenfeld, age 82, passed away Friday,
August 21, 2026 in Beachwood. Born May 28, 1944
in Akron, she was a daughter of Theodore and
Amelia (Labunsky) Dudich Sr. Mary was married to
the love of her life, Ken, for 53 years, before he
passed in 2020.
Mary has been in the mortgage lending field for
more than 45 years and was vice president/manager
of American Eagle Mtg Co. LLC. She always said
she intended to continue working as long as she “felt
29”. Along with her husband, Ken, they owned
Marine Assist in Geneva on the Lake. She was into
the real estate profession, president of the Women’s
Council and Board of Directors for Summit County
consumer affairs. She volunteered her time in 13
communities and loved helping others.
Left to cherish her memory are her friends that she
loved dearly.
