Mildred L. Hogan went to be with her savior, Jesus, her beloved husband, Alfred Carl and son, Gary Albert. She passed away on July 5, 2026.
A lifelong resident of Geneva, Mildred was born to Albert and Anna Thompson on April 23, 1929. Her brother, Dale Thompson and sister, Alberta Jamison preceded her in death.

After graduation, Mildred and Alfred Carl Hogan were married. They celebrated 55 years of marriage before Al’s passing. They’ve served the community as members of the Geneva Lions Club for many years. Together, as a fundraiser, they prepared dozens of roses in their garage to be sold for Sweetest Day.
Mildred was a member of the United Church since 1949. She loved her church and served the church in several offices. Mildred, along with friends, helped prepare many church dinners. She was especially known for her delicious Sloppy Joe’s. Members attending the Lenten services always looked forward to the Sloppy Joe’s prepared by Mildred and her friends.
