Mildred "Millie" J. Burhenne 1939 ~ 2021

Mildred “Millie” Jane Burhenne, 81, passed away Friday, August 20, 2021 in Chardon. She was born in Geneva on December 19, 1939 to James & Frances Simsa. She married Carl H. Burhenne on May 23, 1958 in Geneva. They were blessed with over 39 loving years together.

Mildred dedicated her lifetime to agriculture and was a self-employed farmer whose farm was known as the "Circle B Farm". She had also previously drove bus for the Geneva Area Schools and had worked seasonal at Geneva State Park. She loved spending time with her family, playing bingo and going to the Ashtabula County Fair every year. Mildred was a lifetime member of the Geneva FOE and had served as the treasurer for Spencer Reunion.

She will be deeply missed by her Sons: Alan (Peggy) Burhenne of Painesville, James (Cheryl) Burhenne of Geneva and William Burhenne of Geneva; Grandsons Cody (Ashley) Burhenne & Jamie (Bre) Burhenne of Geneva.

Mildred was preceded by her husband Carl in 1997; her Parents; and Siblings Jane, Ruth & Frank.

Visitation will be held this Friday, August 27, 2021, from 4:00-5:45 PM at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva. Celebration of Life will be held directly afterwards.
