Obituary For Minnie Arbogast

Minnie Arbogast 1922 - 2021

Minnie Arbogast, age 98, passed away January 3, 2021 in North Carolina. Born November 8, 1922 to Delbert and Emma (Root) Keener in Lost Creek, WV. Minnie was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, quilting and cooking.

Survivors: Children: Danny (Carol) Arbogast of Geneva; Freddie (Cheryl) Arbogast of Rock Cave, WV; Kenneth (Shirley) Arbogast of Solida, CA; Roger (Cheryl) Arbogast of Chardon and Donna Arbogast of Albemarle, NC; 20 Grandchildren; 30 Great Grandchildren; 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Siblings: Glen Keener of Perry; Mary (Justin) Nuzen of Madison

Preceded: Husband: Donald; Daughter: Susan Arbogast Cross; Parents; Several Brothers and Sisters.

Graveside Service will be held January 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Mount Clare, WV.

Arrangements are under the care of Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St. in Geneva.

    Grandma, you were a resilient woman for 98 years of life until the moment of your passing. Your strength was beyond measure and I couldn't be more proud of you. You were creative, funny and strong-willed. You gave the best hugs and as kids, "let's go for a drive with Grandpa" meant we were going for ice cream. Except for that one time we were very confused when we actually just went for a drive. I am grateful you were able to spend your final weeks being hugged and kissed, cooking (thank you for Dumpling Day) and having undivided attention and care. We all already know, but when I asked you if you realized how strong you were, your response was a confident "yes". I'm glad you knew too. We always joked you would live forever and with your love for the Lord, you will. I love you Gram ❤️ -Tami
