OBITUARIES

Nancy Gobis, age 66, passed away on September 5, 2023 in Geneva, Ohio, after a lengthy illness. Born September 19, 1956 in Painesville, OH to the late Raymond & Marion (Paces) McMillan, Nancy is survived by her two children, Heather Gobis and Chrissy Gobis; her brother, Paul (Bonnie) McMillan of Savannah, GA; and grandchildren Aubriella, Matthew, Xander, Serenity, Emma, Richard and Christopher.

Nancy had previously worked in the healthcare industry as a dental hygienist and an LPN. She enjoyed traveling, loved palm trees, caring for her 3 cats, 60’s rock and roll music, spending time with her family and reading the Bible. Nancy’s Christian faith was a vital core of her life.

Nancy had many struggles in life, but always faced her challenges with humor, faith and hope. She will be laid to rest aside her mother in a private ceremony at Whitehaven Memorial Park in Mayfield, Ohio.
