OBITUARIES

Raymond Frabotta age 92, passed April 17, 2022 at Geneva Shores. A lifelong Geneva resident, he was born on March 5, 1930 to Tomaso and Loisa (Fisco) Frabotta. He married Blanche Goodwill on February 14, 1955 in Ripley, NY and they were blessed with over 56 years of marriage when she passed in 2011.

Raymond served in the US Army and recently the Honor Guard celebrated him with a Pinning Ceremony. After the military Mr. Frabotta went to work as an Auto Technician. He was a gifted mechanic and retired from Geneva Ford in 2004.

He attended the Geneva Senior Center and liked going to breakfast with his friends. Ray and his wife enjoyed car rides along the lakeshore; he also enjoyed cooking, gardening and sitting under his trees and admiring the weather. A dedicated family man, he will always be remembered as a great dad! Survivors include his children: Pauline Sabatine of Geneva, Renee (Erik) Klaproth of GA, Jack (Gloria) Hedges of GA and Gary Hedges of Perry, OH. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded by his loving wife Blanche, his sons Raymond Jr. and Steve “Skip”, parents and siblings.

Calling hours are Wednesday, April 20, 2022 from 5-7pm at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St. in Geneva.

Graveside service with Military Honors is 10:00am Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Maplewood Cemetery in Geneva with interment to follow.
