OBITUARIES

Richard “Dick” A. Cook Sr., age 89, passed away August 10, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born September 22, 1930 in Reynoldsville, PA to John and Josephine (Smail) Cook, he had been a resident of Geneva-on-the-Lake since 1992.

He was a former resident of Youngstown, Ohio where he was employed by The Ohio Bell Telephone Company for 40 years. He enjoyed fishing and had proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1949-1957.

He is survived by his children: Susan Cook of Geneva-on-the-Lake, Richard (Patti) Cook Jr. of Youngstown, Russell (Mary Beth) Cook of Canfield, and Randall (Sue) Cook of Boardman; 12 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren and Brother James (Joan) Cook of Huber Heights, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Margaret “Peggy” L. (Hill) in 2008 and his Parents.

A private family memorial will be held.

Arrangements are under the care of Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St. in Geneva.
