Obituary For Richard Leroy Shahan

Richard L. Shahan 1942-2019

Richard L. Shahan, age 77, of Geneva, passed away August 27, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family. Born on Thursday, February 26, 1942 in Madison. The son of Wilbur H. & Evelyn D. (Poling) Shahan.

Richard married the love of his life, Sharon Hall July 3, 1961 in Jefferson.

He worked at Perfection as a bender for 30 years, and at White Motors in Cleveland painting trucks. Richard enjoyed fishing, hunting, the Cleveland Indians and Ohio State.

Survived by: wife Sharon; sons Jeffrey "Jeff" (Tammy) Shahan of Saybrook Twp and Jerrold "Jerry" (Susie) Shahan of Lincolnton, NC; daughters Cynthia "Cindy" Murdock of Akron, Tamara "Tammi" Watson of Eastlake and Laura "Lauri" (Jason) Hinkle of Centerburg, OH; 9 Grandchildren; 16 Great Grandchildren; brothers Roger (Leida) Shahan of Harpersfield Twp and Ronald (Sheila) Shahan; sisters: Carolyn (Donald) Clawson of Leesburg, FL and Linda (Mike) Napolitan of Jefferson

Preceded by: grandson Luke Shahan; his brother David Shahan and his Parents.

Gathering: Friday, August 30, 2019 from 7:00-9:00 P.M. at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva.
