OBITUARIES

Richard “Tommy” Spoor, age 83, passed away November 26,2022 at his home. Born October 31, 1939 in Batavia, NY, he was a son of Charles & Marion (Nye) Spoor.

Richard was a machinist at Reliance for almost 20 years. He also worked at Bennett Machine in Madison and Air Maze in Solon. Tommy lived most of his life in Geneva and was a member of the Social Men’s Club, Geneva VFW, and Ashtabula Eagles.

Tommy enjoyed cars and racing, watching Nascar with his favorite driver being Jeff Gordon. He liked to work outside in the yard and watching sports, especially the Cleveland Indians. Tommy was also a big lover of animals.

Survivors: Wife: Ava; Brothers: Clarence (Bonnie) and Allen (JoAnn); many nieces & nephews, and great-great nephew Jax, who he was very close to.

Preceded by: Siblings: Lucille Kelly; Charles “Buddy” Spoor; Joanne Potter; Diane Manes and Gary Spoor.

Visitation: Tuesday, November 29, 2022 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva

Funeral Service: 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 30, 2022, Walker Funeral Home with Pastor David Letteau officiating.

Interment: Evergreen Cemetery
