OBITUARIES

Sallie J. Rau, age 73, passed away July 4, 2026 in Geneva. Born in Highland Park, Michigan on July 5, 1952, she was a daughter of Arbera and Sallie (Holstein) Kuhn. Sallie was a housekeeper at Lakeland (now Living Opportunities). She liked playing card games on the computer, Bingo, yard sales, going to the casino and the Cleveland Browns.

Left to cherish her memory, are her sons, Robert (Pam) and Michael (Laura) Hasenauer; Grandchildren: Jenna, Ashley, Nichole, Matthew, Nicholas, Destiny, Ariel and Chelsea; Great-Grandchildren: Brandon, Emily, Luca, Krysten, Autumn, Addison, Nevaeh, Natalie, Timothy Jr and Myles; Grandson: Noah Dew; Siblings: Robert (Maryann) Kuhn; Bruce Kuhn and Betty Larrison.

She was preceded by her husbands, Robert Hasenauer and Ralph Rau; Brothers: Calvin Pauley and Paul Kuhn; Parents.

Graveside Service: July 24, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Harpersfield Cemetery; Rev Shirley Frantz officiating.
