OBITUARIES

Samuel C. Coy, age 97, of Brookfield, Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Hospice of the Valley Hospice House, Poland, Ohio. Born on Saturday, October 1, 1921 in Austinburg, OH the son of Wilbert M. & Belle G. (Thompson) Coy. Married Mary F. Coy on October 23, 1948 in South Harpersfield. A Masonry brick layer for Loucy Construction and serving in the U.S. Navy during W.W.II. He was a member of the Ohio Brick Layers Union, and enjoyed spending time with his brother and sisters family, 3/4 Arabian Horses and a Cleveland Indians fan.

Survived by: Sons: Michael J. (Barbara) Coy, Sudance, WY; Kim Collin (Dawn) Coy, Brookfield, OH; 3 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren; Siblings: Bill (Jeanette) Coy, G-O-T-L; Janet Bowser, Geneva; Roberta (Robert) Weaver, Ashtabula; Doris Shahan, Painesville.

Memorial Service: 11:00 AM Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva. Officiating: Cora Walker.

Interment: Old Harpersfield Cemetery, Cork Cold Springs Rd.
