OBITUARIES

Sandra L. Blevins, Geneva, Age 82, passed away at home with family present, on Saturday, June 23, 2018. Born on Sunday, December 8, 1935 in Deshler, Ohio, the daughter of Torrence F. & Helen L. (Zollars) Firman. She worked as a switchboard telephone operator in Deshler and for Snap-Out forms in Chardon. As owner of "Sandy's General Store" in Cork, Ohio for several years, a tax preparer, and most recently a cashier at Walmart in Madison, she made many friends in the community. Member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. Her hobbies included crocheting afghans and doilies, flower gardening and her 2 cats, Timmy and Tommy.

Survivors: Children: Steve (Margie) Suhay, Columbus; Michael Suhay, Ashtabula; Kelly (Duane) Bidlack, Chardon; Step-Daughter: Donna (George) Trusevych, Canada; Step-Sons: Bob (Renee) Meyers, Florida; Ken Meyers. Grandchildren: David (Victoria) Suhay, Portland, Oregon; Matthew (Elyse) Suhay, Evansville, Indiana; Daniel (Jessica) Gehring, Mentor; Andrew Gehring, Mayfield Hts.; Sisters: Daunita Gregoire; Belinda Botjar; Many Step-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews and close friends that are considered family.

Home Going Celebration Service: 6:30 PM, Thursday, July 5th, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3050 McMackin Rd., Madison, Ohio. All friends are welcome.

Officiating: Pastor Howard Davis

Interment: Private family burial, Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva
