Obituary For Sarah Newman
Sarah E. Newman, age 89, passed away September 11, 2025 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Ashtabula on November 4, 1935, she was a daughter of Lewis and Ellen (Davies) Craig. She lived all her life in the Geneva area and married her love, Albert in 1984. Sarah was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Steelers, baseball, volleyball and horseshoes. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, camping and putting together jigsaw puzzles.
Left to cherish her memory, are her husband, Albert; Children: John (Debra) of Jefferson; Tom of Geneva and Harry of Hartsgrove; 6 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren; Sister: Leona Krause of Jefferson
She was preceded by a son, Barry; Sister: Patricia Duffy Barnhouse; a Brother, Thomas Craig, twin brothers, and her Parents.
No services will be observed and Interment will be at Alexander Harper Cemetery in Unionville.
Walker Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the care of Sarah.
