OBITUARIES

Sharon H. Shahan, age 80, passed away February 27,2025 in Geneva surrounded by family. Born In Hacker Valley, WV on June 1, 1944, she was a daughter of Ora and Julia (Claypool) Hall. She married Richard Shahan in Jefferson on July 3, 1961 and they spent many wonderful years together. Sharon loved spending time with her family, gardening, canning, cooking, doing cross-word puzzles. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns, Indians and Ohio State.

Left to cherish her memory are her Children: Jeffrey (Tammy) Shahan of Ashtabula, Jerrold (Susie) Shahan of North Carolina, Cynthia (Bret Decker) Shahan of Akron, Tamara Watson of Mentor and Laura (Jason) Hinkle of Centerburg; 9 Grandchildren; 18 Great-Grandchildren; Sister: Bonnie McCormick

Preceding her in death are her beloved husband, Richard; Grandson: Luke Shahan; Sister: Norma Nageotte and Brother: Virgil Hall.

A gathering of friends and family will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St, from 6:00 ~ 8:00 PM.
