OBITUARIES

Shirley A. Booth, age 89, passed away November 30, 2019 at UH Geneva. Born March 5, 1930 to Walter and Mable (Hill) Rooks in Painesville.

Shirley was a Nurse’s Aide for Lakeland Nursing Home and Meridian House. She was a sister, mother, housewife, clerk, bartender. She loved spending time with her family and liked Elvis Presley.

Survivors include: Children: Darlene, Lori & Dennis, and William & Debbie. Grandchildren: Christopher & Jennifer, Jeffrey & Laura, Jonathan & Christine, Daniel, David & Bethany, and Tori. Great Grandchildren: Garen, Aliyah, Addison, Abagail, Aubrey, Emily, Saddie and Jayden.

Preceded in death by: Son: Harold; Great Grandchild: Lyla; Siblings: Kay, Doris, Alice, Gladys, Sonny and Barbara; Parents

No calling hours are being observed.

A private graveside service will be held at Alexander Harper Cemetery.

Arrangements are under the care of Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St. in Geneva.
